Boulder County has invested $14.2 million in a property at 2525 28th St., Boulder, with plans to transform it into a facility for community services, according to a county press release.
The new building will house essential services for residents, including mental health and job assistance programs. Before the move, county workers will undertake energy efficiency upgrades and renovations, a process expected to take over a year. Currently, these services are offered at the North Broadway Complex, located at 1333 Iris Ave., Boulder.
The county emphasized that the new location will improve accessibility for residents while enhancing energy efficiency and safety. Once the transition is complete, officials will determine the future use of the North Broadway Complex.
In addition to the new facility, Boulder County continues to operate the St. Vrain Community Hub in Longmont and the Southeast Community Hub in Lafayette, which also provides vital services to the community. #MentalHealthSupport #JobServices #BoulderCountyNews #CommunitySupport
